Three people hospitalized following traffic collision in Limassol district

Three individuals were hospitalized in serious condition following a vehicle collision in the Limassol district on Saturday. The incident occurred around 2:00 pm on the Omodos-Mandria road, involving a car driven by a 73-year-old man and a second vehicle occupied by a 36-year-old driver and a 35-year-old female passenger. Emergency services transported all three victims to the Limassol General Hospital. Medical reports confirmed that the 73-year-old sustained fractured ribs and a fractured sternum, the 36-year-old suffered a fractured leg, and the 35-year-old sustained head injuries and internal abdominal trauma. Doctors have described their condition as serious but stable and not life-threatening. The Platres police station is currently conducting an investigation to determine the exact circumstances and causes of the accident.
