President Christodoulides lays foundation stone for Adonis III housing project

On Tuesday morning, Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides attended the foundation stone ceremony for the 'Adonis III' housing project in Pano Polemidia, Limassol. The project, overseen by the Cyprus Land Development Corporation, involves the construction of 29 modern three-bedroom semi-detached homes with high energy efficiency standards. The President was accompanied by Minister of Interior Constantinos Ioannou. During the ceremony, the President emphasized the government's commitment to addressing housing shortages, labeling it a key priority. He highlighted that Cyprus has successfully advocated for affordable housing as a priority at the European Union level. Furthermore, Christodoulides noted that government initiatives have enabled the utilization of EU funding for domestic housing policies, which were previously excluded from such resources. He described the project as a necessary investment in social cohesion and living quality for the Limassol region.
