President Christodoulides lays foundation stone for Adonis III housing project

On June 9, 2026, President Nikos Christodoulides officially laid the foundation stone for the Adonis III housing project in Pano Polemidia, Limassol. Developed by the Cyprus Land Development Corporation (CLDC), the project consists of 29 three-bedroom semi-detached homes designed by architects Eleni Pattichi and Taulant Tozaj. Construction is being carried out by A. Aristotelous Construction Ltd, with unit prices ranging from €263,000 to €320,000, which officials claim is over 20 percent below the local market rate. The application window for interested buyers is set from June 1 to August 31, 2026. President Christodoulides stated that the project is part of a larger strategy to deliver 436 affordable units across Cyprus within the year, supported by new financing tools and revised planning incentives. He noted that the government has successfully advocated for the use of European Union funds for housing, marking a shift in policy from previous years of limited activity. The development aims to alleviate housing pressure in the Limassol region by providing energy-efficient homes for households.
