Cyprus University of Technology hosts event for Stelios Pisis

The Cyprus University of Technology and the Stelios Pisis Music Foundation are co-organizing an event to present the digitization of the life and work of composer Stelios Pisis. The ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 18:00, in Amphitheater 1 of the Tassos Papadopoulos Building in Limassol. The event will begin with opening remarks from CUT Rector Panayiotis Zaphiris and Library Director Marios Zervas. A documentary film about Pisis will be screened, and librarian Grigoria Evripidou will present the digitized archives. The program includes a musical tribute featuring performers Dimitris Fanis, Kostas Kakogiannis, Sophia Patsalidou, Aristos Christodoulou, Stamatis Petsakos, Panagiotis Ilias, George Hatzipapas, and the Aris Choir of Limassol under conductor Solon Kladas. Aglaia Pisis, honorary president of the foundation and mother of the composer, will deliver a speech, and a video featuring the composer will be shown. Additionally, a photographic exhibition will be hosted in the building's foyer.
