Cypriot students win multiple awards at Robotic Day Prague 2026

Cypriot student teams participated in the European robotics competition, Robotic Day Prague 2026, held on June 6 and 7, 2026, in the Czech Republic. The event, hosted by Charles University in Prague, featured various challenges in robot construction and programming. Teams from the Epiteugma Robotics Lab achieved four top-tier rankings. The Island Boys team placed first in the Roadside Assistance category, while Agent Road-Bot secured second place in the same category. Additionally, the team I Forgot Now won first place in the Ketchup House category, and Quantum Minds took second place in the ToyCleanup category. Other participants included students from Pascal Private School and the tutoring centers Evrymatheia, Madlab, and Paideia. The participants qualified for this international event through the local Robotic Day Cyprus 2026 competition, which was organized by the Achievement Foundation for Talented and Gifted Youth. Mission head Stavros Charalambous publicly commended all students for their performance.
