Changan Automobile and Deepal brand to launch in Cyprus

CarHome Ltd has announced the upcoming entry of the Chinese automaker Changan Automobile and its new-energy vehicle brand, Deepal, into the Cyprus market. The Deepal models, including the S05 and S07, were developed at Changan’s European Design Centre in Turin, Italy, which has been in operation since 2006. The design team was led by Global Design Director Bertrand Bach and included Greek designer Georgios Koukos. Changan Automobile, which traces its corporate history to 1862, reported approximately 2.9 million global vehicle sales last year. The upcoming launch will focus on premium electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles. Selected models are expected to start at prices from approximately €32,900. The rollout is part of Changan’s strategy to expand its international presence in the new-energy vehicle sector.
