University of Limassol announces partnership with Modern Montessori International

The University of Limassol has entered into a strategic partnership with Modern Montessori International (MMI) London and the MTC Cyprus Montessori Training Centre. The agreement aims to integrate Montessori education philosophy into university degree programs. This collaboration seeks to bridge academic theory with practical educational training for students in Cyprus. Key academic leadership involved in the initiative includes the Department of Education Sciences, represented by Department Chair Dr. Panayiotis Kosmas. Dr. Maria Karamanidou, Vice Chair, and Dr. Maria Anastasou, Director of the BEd in Preschool Education, are also coordinating the project. The partnership is presented as a unique university-level collaboration in Cyprus focusing on professional training in the Montessori sector. The initiative aims to enhance the university's academic offerings by ensuring high standards of educational practice.
