Four individuals arrested in Paphos following assault on 19-year-old
On June 8, 2026, shortly after 7:00 p.m., police in Paphos received reports of an injured individual at the local hospital. A 19-year-old man was found to have lacerations on his head and arm, which he attributed to an assault by acquaintances. Following an investigation, police identified four suspects: two 21-year-olds, a 24-year-old, and a 19-year-old. The suspects were arrested on June 9, 2026, based on judicial warrants for alleged offenses including assault, actual bodily harm, and possession of a knife. The Paphos Criminal Investigation Department (TAE) is currently handling the case. All four individuals are expected to appear before the Paphos District Court to face motions for their remand. The victim and the suspects are reported to be known to each other.
