Cypriot exhibition Crafting Nature opens in Copenhagen

The exhibition Crafting Nature was inaugurated in Copenhagen by the Deputy Minister of Culture of Cyprus, Dr. Vasiliki Kassianidou. Hosted at the historic Moltkes Palæ in the Gyldne Sal room, the event is part of the cultural program for the 2026 Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU. The exhibition coincides with the international 3daysofdesign 2026 festival, which runs from June 10 to June 12. Curated by art theorist Thalia Stefanidou, the show features 17 Cypriot creators who present works inspired by the natural landscape. The pieces utilize materials such as clay, stone, wood, glass, metal, and textiles to bridge traditional handicraft with contemporary design. The exhibition is a production of the Deputy Ministry of Culture and the Cyprus Handicraft Service, supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Denmark. It is open to the public until June 25, 2026, aiming to engage international professionals and art collectors.
