Cyprus labor minister attends 114th international labour conference in Geneva

Cyprus Minister of Labour and Social Insurance Marinos Mousiouttas led a tripartite delegation to the 114th International Labour Conference in Geneva, held from June 9 to June 11, 2026. The Minister also met with ILO Director-General Gilbert Houngbo to discuss international labor standards. Furthermore, the conference is expected to adopt a new international convention concerning decent work on digital platforms. Domestically, the Minister highlighted positive trends in the Cypriot labor market and historically high employment rates.
