US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth visits Guantanamo Bay amid rising regional tensions

US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth visited the US naval base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, to meet with military personnel. The visit occurred amid heightened bilateral tensions, with the Trump administration labeling Cuba a national security threat.
