Greek and Cypriot naval forces hold joint exercise

On June 9, 2026, the Cypriot National Guard and the Hellenic Navy conducted a joint naval exercise titled 'DNPN/02-2026'. The operation took place in the waters between Larnaca and Limassol as part of the broader 'NIKITIS-DIMITRA 2026' military maneuvers. The exercise involved the Cypriot Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV) 'Ioannidis' and the Greek frigate 'Elli'.
