Hadassah Medical Center opens in Limassol
The Hadassah Medical Center is scheduled to officially open in Limassol, Cyprus, on July 1, 2026. The decision to establish this facility was formally ratified during a meeting of the Hadassah governing bodies in Israel on June 3, 2026. Key participants in this agreement included representatives from the Hadassah Medical Organization (HMO), Hadassah Medical Ltd (HML), the Hadassah Women’s Zionist Organization of America (HWZOA), and Hadassah Cyprus. The project is led by stakeholders including Dalia Itzik, Prof. Yoram Weiss, Carol Ann Schwartz, Ellen Hershkin, Yigal Molad, and Lambros Christofi. The center will focus on advanced medical services, including prevention, diagnostics, rehabilitation, and longevity. This expansion marks the first physical presence of the organization in Cyprus. The facility aims to implement the clinical and academic standards maintained by the international Hadassah organization.
