AEK Larnaca reaches agreement with forward Amir Layouni

AEK Larnaca FC officially announced a preliminary agreement to sign 33-year-old Tunisian forward Amir Layouni for a two-year contract. The club expects the player to arrive in Cyprus before the start of the pre-season training sessions to finalize the transfer. Layouni has spent the last three years with the Swedish club BK Häcken, recording 100 appearances, 25 goals, and 23 assists. AEK Larnaca management reportedly identified the player during a match against BK Häcken in the UEFA Europa Conference League on December 11, 2025. Throughout his career, Layouni has played in Sweden, Norway, Egypt, and Australia. He is also a Tunisian international with 15 appearances and two goals for the national team. Technical experts describe him as a fast, skillful winger capable of playing on both sides of the attack.
