AEK Larnaca reaches agreement with forward Amor Layouni

AEK Larnaca has announced an initial agreement to sign 33-year-old Tunisian forward Amor Layouni for a two-year contract. The player is expected to arrive in Cyprus before the start of the team's preseason training to finalize the deal. Born in Sweden, Layouni has played for several clubs, including Dalkurd FF, Falu FK, IK Brage, Degerfors IF, Elverum Fotball, FK Bodø/Glimt, Pyramids FC, Vålerenga, Western Sydney Wanderers, and most recently BK Häcken. Over his career, he has recorded significant statistics, including 100 appearances and 25 goals for BK Häcken. The interest from AEK’s director Xavi Roca reportedly solidified after Layouni played against AEK during a UEFA Conference League match in December 2025. Layouni is also a Tunisia international with 15 caps and 2 goals. He is capable of playing on both the right and left wings.
