Limassol municipality completes seven cleaning operations in two months

The Municipality of Limassol has concluded seven organized cleaning interventions over the past two months. The operations covered various locations including Agios Nikolaos, Garyllis River, Omonia, Mesa Geitonia, Vathkeia River, Epichosi, and the districts of Agia Fyla and Kapsalos. The municipal services and contracted partners performed activities such as weed removal, street sweeping, green space maintenance, tree pruning, and repairs to urban and road infrastructure. Additionally, the municipality conducted public information campaigns regarding waste management and cleanliness. Loukas Spatharis, the newly appointed President of the Committee for Health, Quality of Life, Cleanliness, and Environment, commended the municipal staff for their efforts. The program is part of a broader municipal strategy to improve the functionality and overall aesthetic of local neighborhoods.
