Engagement ring found and handed to police in Nicosia

Stella Kyriakides, the former European Commissioner for Health, found a white gold engagement ring on June 9 at approximately 15:00. The item was discovered on the sidewalk outside a clinical laboratory located at 55-57 Andrea Avramidou Street, opposite the Aretaeio Hospital in Nicosia. After failing to locate the owner independently over several days, Kyriakides handed the ring to the Strovolos Police Station on the morning of June 11. She has launched a public appeal via social media, requesting citizens to share the information to help reunite the ring with its owner. The ring contains specific engravings that will serve as proof of ownership. Interested parties who believe they are the rightful owners must provide identifying evidence to the Strovolos Police Station. The police are currently holding the item for safekeeping until it is claimed.
