Recent fire incidents across Cyprus

Multiple fire incidents occurred in Cyprus between June 13 and June 15, 2026. On June 13, a fire in Kallepeia, Paphos, burned three decares of vegetation before being contained at 19:51. On June 14, a fire in Neo Chorio, Paphos, was reported at 5:20 a.m. and controlled by 6:10 a.m., with authorities suspecting arson due to multiple ignition points. In Nicosia, a fire in Lakatamia on Monday at 17:13 damaged a wooden house due to an electrical fault, while a separate fire in a Strovolos apartment kitchen at 21:32 was extinguished by the owner. Additionally, a minor fire occurred on the Aradippou motorway median on June 15 at 14:20, which was brought under control within 15 minutes. No injuries were reported in any of these incidents, and the Fire Service and Forestry Department coordinated the responses across the affected regions.
