Church authorities have officially denounced the footage as a fabricated scam with no scientific basis. The bishopric stated that the unauthorized content was produced to deceive the public and poses a significant risk to individuals seeking medical guidance. Officials expressed concern that vulnerable individuals might rely on the false information presented in the video. The public has been urged to ignore, report, and delete the content immediately. Furthermore, the bishopric advised citizens to rely solely on official sources, such as the Metropolitan’s verified YouTube channel and website, for accurate information. This incident marks an escalation in the use of deepfake technology for deceptive purposes in the region.
