Enhanced bus service between Nicosia and Ayia Napa-Paralimni starting June 13, 2026

The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, in cooperation with Intercity Buses, announced an increase in bus services starting Saturday, June 13, 2026. Additional morning routes will operate from Nicosia to Ayia Napa and Paralimni, while extra afternoon routes will run from the Famagusta area back to Nicosia. This decision aims to address the high seasonal demand for public transport to one of Cyprus's most popular summer destinations. The move is intended to accommodate the influx of tourists, students, and residents visiting the region's beaches and facilities. By increasing service frequency, the ministry seeks to promote sustainable travel and reduce reliance on private vehicles.
