Olympiacos Nicosia announces new player signing and head coach appointment

Olympiacos Nicosia has officially confirmed two major appointments for the upcoming season as of June 12, 2026. The club signed Cypriot defender Christoforos Frantzis to a 1+1 year contract. Frantzis, a product of the AEL Limassol academy, has over 100 professional appearances for his former club and has represented Cyprus at the youth national team level. He is primarily a right-back but can also play as a central defender. Additionally, the club announced the return of Giorgos Kostis as head coach, signing him to a one-year contract. Kostis previously worked with the club and will now lead the team's technical staff for the new competitive season. The club stated that both appointments are aimed at strengthening the team for upcoming challenges.
