Human remains found in garden of former pathologist in Poland

Polish authorities are investigating the discovery of human fetal remains buried in the garden of a property in the village of Lutorz, near Rzeszow. The remains were uncovered by the current owners of the house during excavation work. The property was previously owned by a 57-year-old female pathologist who has since been arrested. Along with the fetal remains, investigators found large quantities of medical waste, including paraffin blocks and glass microscope slides. A spokesperson for the prosecutor's office in Rzeszow confirmed that the findings include at least one human embryo and other potential fetal remains. The suspect is currently facing charges related to the desecration of human remains and the illegal disposal of hazardous medical waste. If convicted, the pathologist could face a prison sentence ranging from two to 12 years.
