21-year-old arrested for drug possession in Larnaca

A 21-year-old man was arrested in Larnaca shortly after 11:00 p.m. following a traffic stop. Police intercepted the individual while he was operating an unregistered motorcycle. During a search of the vehicle, officers discovered two bags containing 18 packets of cannabis with a total weight of 78 grams and one packet of cocaine weighing 3 grams, along with a precision scale. The suspect is under investigation for possession of drugs and possession with intent to supply. Additional charges include driving without a license, operating an uninsured vehicle, and driving a motorcycle reported as immobilized. Furthermore, the suspect tested positive during a preliminary roadside drug test. The case is being handled by the Larnaca drug squad and traffic department.
