Teenager sentenced for sexual assault of sibling in Czech Republic
In Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic, a 16-year-old boy was convicted of sexually abusing his 12-year-old sister over an extended period. The abuse, which began when the boy was 15, culminated in a pregnancy that remained undetected by the family until the girl was hospitalized with severe pain. The victim gave birth in the summer of 2025, and subsequent DNA testing confirmed her brother as the father. The perpetrator was brought to trial in Pilsen, where he received a three-year suspended sentence in late 2024. As part of his sentencing, he was ordered to undergo professional therapy. The boy has since been removed from the family home and placed in foster care. Local authorities noted that the family originated from a stable social background, and the event caused significant distress in the local community.
