Future of footballer Jefté Betancor remains uncertain following loan period

Jefté Betancor, the 32-year-old forward currently under contract with Olympiacos until 2027, has concluded his loan spell at Albacete. During his time in Spain, he recorded 18 goals in 41 or 42 appearances across all competitions. Reports indicate that Albacete has decided against exercising their buy-out option to sign the player permanently. Despite his performance, the Spanish club has chosen not to retain him. Betancor is now linked to potential interest from Las Palmas as well as two undisclosed Cypriot football teams that have reportedly initiated preliminary contact.
