Second week of Cypriot entrance exams begins

The second week of the 2026 Cypriot Entrance Examinations began on Monday with tests in Advanced Mathematics, Ancient Greek, and Technical School Technology. According to the Examinations Service, 2,826 candidates are sitting for the Advanced Mathematics exam, while 233 are taking the Ancient Greek test. Head of the Examinations Service, Sokratis Mylonas, confirmed that the examinations are proceeding smoothly without significant issues. The schedule for the remainder of the week includes exams in subjects such as Spanish, Visual Arts, Informatics, English, Physics, and History, running through Friday, June 19. A total of more than 5,100 candidates are participating in the examinations to secure spots at public universities in Cyprus and Greece. Officials have also established an examination center abroad for graduating students participating in an official sports mission. This center is overseen by inspectors and educators, mirroring the procedures used in domestic centers. The full examination period is scheduled to conclude on June 26.
