Pafos FC signs Azerbaijani winger Murad Mammadov until 2030

Pafos FC has officially announced the acquisition of 20-year-old Azerbaijani winger Murad Mammadov. The player, born on April 26, 2006, has signed a contract valid until June 2030. Mammadov joins the Cypriot club from Neftçi Baku, where he progressed through the youth academy to the professional level. Last season, he made 19 appearances for Neftçi, scoring two goals and providing one assist across approximately 600 minutes of play. He is currently an active member of the Azerbaijan U21 national team. The winger is primarily known for playing on the right flank but is capable of operating on both sides of the attack. His transfer is part of the club's strategy to invest in young, developing talent.
