Toyota wins the 94th 24 Hours of Le Mans
Toyota secured its sixth overall victory at the 94th 24 Hours of Le Mans, the third round of the 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship. The number 7 Toyota GR010 HYBRID, driven by Mike Conway, Kamui Kobayashi, and Nyck de Vries, completed 381 laps to finish first. They crossed the line 10.913 seconds ahead of the second-placed number 20 BMW M Hybrid V8, driven by Sheldon Van der Linde, Rene Rast, and Robin Frijns. The number 8 Toyota driven by Sébastien Buemi, Brendon Hartley, and Ryō Hirakawa finished in third place, trailing the leaders by 20.417 seconds. A total of 350,105 spectators attended the race, which saw 62 cars and 186 drivers participate. While BMW started on pole position and Cadillac led into the final quarter, mechanical issues affected several competitors, including a power steering failure for the Cadillac number 38 and the retirement of the pole-sitting BMW number 15. Previous winners Ferrari finished fifth with their number 51 car.
