Toyota wins the 94th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans

Toyota Racing secured its sixth overall victory at the 94th 24 Hours of Le Mans, part of the 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship, with a total of 350,105 spectators in attendance. The winning No. 7 Toyota GR010 HYBRID, driven by Mike Conway, Kamui Kobayashi, and Nyck de Vries, completed 381 laps and finished 10.913 seconds ahead of the competition. The second-place finisher was the No. 20 BMW crewed by Sheldon van der Linde, Rene Rast, and Robin Frijns. Toyota's No. 8 car, driven by Sébastien Buemi, Brendon Hartley, and Ryō Hirakawa, finished third, 20.417 seconds behind the winners. The race featured 62 cars and 186 drivers, with the event started by cyclist Mark Cavendish. Despite poor qualifying positions, the Toyota team utilized an aggressive pit stop strategy to overcome challenges from rivals including Cadillac and BMW. The Cadillac No. 38 entry retired due to a power steering failure, while the pole-sitting No. 15 BMW also failed to finish. Ferrari, the winner of the previous three editions, placed fifth with their No. 51 car.
