Paralimni-Deryneia municipality commemorates former mayors

The Municipal Council of Paralimni-Deryneia has announced decisions to honor the legacies of two former mayors, Theodoros Pyrillis and Nikos Vlittis. To honor Theodoros Pyrillis, the council decided to rename the local indoor sports hall, known as Palataki, to the Theodoros Pyrillis Indoor Sports Hall. Additionally, Pinias Street in the Pernera area will be renamed Theodoros Pyrillis Street. Regarding Nikos Vlittis, the council resolved to rename the events hall of the Paralimni-Deryneia Town Hall to the Nikos Vlittis Events Hall. Furthermore, the avenue connecting the Anemomylos roundabout to the Agios Panteleimonas roundabout, along road E324, will be renamed Nikos Vlittis Avenue. These decisions aim to preserve the recognition of both former officials within the municipal infrastructure.
