Democratic Rally party announces updates to international relations appointments

Annita Demetriou, President of the Democratic Rally (DISY) party, has confirmed the reappointment of Giorgos Chatzigeorgiou as Secretary of International Relations. The decision follows the party's recent electoral performance, which Demetriou credited in part to Chatzigeorgiou's contributions. In his role, Chatzigeorgiou will focus on managing European and international challenges to enhance the influence of both the party and Cyprus. Additionally, Margarita Kaimaklioti, an associate of MEP Loukas Fourlas, will continue her service as Deputy Secretary of International Relations. Christodoulos Ioannou, who serves as an associate to MEP Michalis Hatzipantelas in Brussels, will also remain part of the team. The leadership expressed confidence in the team's ability to maintain high performance standards. Chatzigeorgiou thanked the president for her continued trust and emphasized the importance of the party's presence within the European People's Party.
