KEAN U18 Pancyprian Athletics Championships conclude in Limassol
The 57th boys' and 56th girls' U18 KEAN Pancyprian Athletics Championships took place on June 13-14, 2026, at the Tsirio Athletic Center and the Tritoftideio Stadium in Limassol. The Gymnastic Club Olympia Limassol (GSO) won both categories for the fifth and fourth consecutive year respectively, scoring 163.5 points in the boys' category and 141 points in the girls'. GSP finished second and GSK third in both categories. Across the two-day event, athletes set six new championship records, four U16 top performances, and three qualifying standards for international competitions. A total of 286 new or personal bests were recorded throughout the tournament. Notable individual performances included discus thrower Marina Hadjikosta, who reached 56.36 meters, securing qualification for the World U20 and European U18 Championships. Marios Panagiotou also stood out with a record-breaking performance in the U16 category.
