Ministry of Education announces school infrastructure projects in Famagusta district

On Monday, Minister of Education, Sports and Youth, Dr. Athena Michaelidou, visited the 3rd Primary School of Deryneia and the 2nd Primary School of Paralimni to assess local educational needs. During her visit, she met with the School Board of Paralimni-Deryneia to discuss regional priorities. The Minister confirmed plans for several infrastructure projects, following announcements previously made by President Christodoulides. Key planned projects include the construction of a new Sports Gymnasium in Paralimni and a new multi-purpose training facility. Additionally, the government is advancing plans for the 2nd Primary School and a public kindergarten in Frenaros. Dr. Michaelidou stated that other various upgrades and improvements to existing school facilities are also being prioritized. These initiatives aim to address the developmental needs of the Famagusta educational district.
