FC Thun excludes Matias Tomas from future plans
Matias Tomas, the 25-year-old Uruguayan attacking midfielder, is no longer part of FC Thun's plans for the upcoming season. After completing a loan spell at APOEL, where he recorded four goals and six assists in 34 league matches, the player returned to the Swiss club. On June 15, Tomas was absent from the team's first training session of the new season. FC Thun has granted him permission to seek a transfer to another club. Reports indicate that Thun is seeking a fee of approximately 1,000,000 euros for his transfer. Given that his contract expires in one year, there is potential for further negotiations or changes to these terms. His potential return to APOEL is currently considered difficult due to these financial requirements.
