Motorcycle destroyed in arson attack at Akaki football field

Shortly after midnight on Monday, at approximately 12:15 a.m., a fire broke out in a motorcycle parked inside a football field in the Akaki region. The police and fire department were notified and arrived at the scene, where firefighters successfully extinguished the blaze. The motorcycle was completely destroyed by the fire. Preliminary examinations conducted by authorities indicate that the fire was likely set maliciously. The scene was guarded throughout the night to facilitate further investigation. As of now, the identity of the motorcycle's owner remains unknown, and the ownership details are currently under investigation. The Morphou Criminal Investigation Department (TAE) has taken charge of the case to determine the exact circumstances and causes of the arson.
