ADMIE Holdings announces capital increase to fund major infrastructure projects
ADMIE Holdings has launched a share capital increase aimed at raising up to 530 million euros to support its strategic investment plan for 2026–2029. The offering consists of new common shares with a maximum price of 4.17 euros per share, with the book-building process running from June 16 to June 18. The Greek State, through DES ADMIE S.A., has committed to retaining at least 51.12% of the company's share capital and covering any unsubscribed shares, ensuring minimum proceeds of 510 million euros. Approximately 85% of the shares are directed toward international institutional investors, with Capital Group participating as a cornerstone investor with a commitment of up to 70 million euros. These funds are designated for critical electrical interconnection projects, including lines to the Dodecanese and North Aegean islands, and the second Greece-Italy (GRITA 2) interconnection. ADMIE CEO Manos Manousakis noted that these projects are essential for enhancing energy security and transforming the country's electricity system. Furthermore, the company is progressing with the Corinth-Kos interconnection tender.
