Public opinion poll reveals concerns over the future of the United States

Only 62% of respondents expressed confidence that the nation would endure for another two and a half centuries. The survey highlights deep internal divisions, with two-thirds of participants agreeing that American democracy is currently at risk, a figure that has increased from 57% the previous year. Additionally, 77% of those surveyed anticipate an increase in political violence within the next five years. The data shows a decline in the number of Americans who view the U.S. as the best country in the world, dropping to 30% from 38% in 2017.
