Warning shots reported near Russian frigate in the English Channel

On Tuesday, a UK-registered yacht reported that the Russian frigate Admiral Grigorovich fired warning shots approximately 500 yards away from the vessel in the English Channel. The incident occurred about 20 nautical miles south of the Isle of Wight, outside of British territorial waters.
