Charity event proceeds donated to RMHC Cyprus

On June 12, 2026, the Parents and Guardians Association of the Apostolos Loukas Regional High School in Kolossi presented a check for 2,300 euros to the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Cyprus. The funds were raised during the 3rd Kourion 3x3 Basketball tournament and Family Fun Day held on May 23, 2026, at the school's indoor gym. The event was organized with the support of the Kourion Municipality, the ASYL Basketball Academy, and the Cyprus Basketball Federation. It was held under the auspices of the Commissioner for Administration and Protection of Human Rights, Maria Stylianou-Lottidou, with the slogan 'Playing for Inclusion – Blocking Discrimination.' The donation was presented by association representatives Georgios Stavrou and Loizos Nikolaou to RMHC Cyprus Board President Elena Andreou and board members Penelope Mertziou and Sofia Michail-Kontou. The funds are intended to support the foundation's operational needs and families in need.
