Fire incidents involving vehicles in Limassol

Three vehicles were damaged in two separate fire incidents in Limassol during the early hours of the morning. At approximately 1:30 AM, a truck parked in an open area in the village of Moni caught fire, resulting in the total destruction of its cabin. Firefighters extinguished the blaze, and the scene was cordoned off for investigation by the Moni Police Station. Approximately three hours later, at 4:00 AM, a second incident occurred in Kato Polemidia. Two cars belonging to a 52-year-old business owner were set ablaze while parked outside his home. These vehicles sustained extensive damage before the fire was brought under control. The Limassol Criminal Investigation Department is currently investigating both cases to determine if they were acts of arson. No injuries were reported, and authorities are conducting forensic examinations today at both sites.
