Series of vehicle fires reported in Nicosia and Limassol

A series of vehicle fires occurred overnight in Cyprus, targeting cars and trucks in different locations. In Nicosia, a fire destroyed a vehicle belonging to a 23-year-old woman in the Agioi Omologites area at 1:30 am, which authorities suspect was malicious. In a separate incident in Limassol, a lorry caught fire at 1:30 am in the community of Moni, resulting in the total destruction of its cabin. Later, at approximately 4:00 am in Kato Polemidia, two cars belonging to a 52-year-old businessman and his company were damaged by fire while parked outside his home. Police and fire services responded to all scenes, which were cordoned off for forensic investigation. While initial reports for the Nicosia fire suggest arson, the investigations into the Limassol cases are ongoing to determine the cause. Authorities are currently gathering evidence at all locations.
