Recent vehicle fire incidents in Limassol district
Two separate arson incidents occurred in the Limassol district, resulting in significant vehicle damage. At 1:30 a.m., a fire broke out in a parked truck in the Moni community. Firefighters successfully extinguished the blaze, which completely destroyed the vehicle's cabin. The scene was secured for investigation by the Moni Police Station to determine the cause. Separately, at 4:00 a.m., two vehicles belonging to a 52-year-old man and his company were set on fire while parked outside his residence in Kato Polemidia. These vehicles sustained extensive damage, and the Limassol CID has launched an investigation into the matter. Authorities conducted forensic examinations at both scenes during the morning hours. No injuries were reported in either event.
