Four injured in violent altercation outside Ayia Napa nightclub

On June 17, 2026, a violent brawl occurred outside a nightclub in Ayia Napa, resulting in the hospitalization of four individuals aged 25, 41, and two aged 22. Police are currently investigating the incident as an attempted murder. One of the 22-year-old victims is in critical condition due to injuries sustained from a sharp object. Authorities have identified a 21-year-old suspect who allegedly wounded three of the victims. During his arrest, the suspect reportedly insulted police officers and disturbed the peace. A knife was recovered at the scene and secured as evidence. The victims are currently being treated at the Famagusta General Hospital.
