APOEL notifies Daniel Mancini of contract termination due to financial issues

APOEL FC has informed 29-year-old midfielder Daniel Mancini that his contract will not continue under the current financial terms. Mancini, who joined the Nicosia-based club in January with a contract lasting until May 2028, was subject to a specific mid-June deadline regarding his future. The club cited a need for financial restructuring to handle upcoming season costs and past obligations. While the club stated that the player cannot remain under current conditions, there remains a possibility for negotiations on a new, reduced salary. Mancini recorded 19 appearances, three goals, and three assists during his tenure. Negotiations are still technically possible if both parties agree to new economic terms.
