Nick Calathes joins PAOK basketball team

On Monday, June 15, PAOK basketball club officially announced the signing of 37-year-old guard Nick Calathes. The player has signed a two-year contract with the team, with total earnings reportedly exceeding 2.5 million euros. The agreement will keep him with the Thessaloniki-based club until the summer of 2028. Calathes, who previously played for Partizan during the last season, arrived in Thessaloniki to finalize the deal. His career includes significant stints at Panathinaikos, Lokomotiv Kuban, Barcelona, Fenerbahce, and Monaco. As a veteran of the EuroLeague, he holds the record for the most steals in the history of the competition and is among the leaders in career assists. His signing marks his return to the Greek league since 2020.
