Reports of drone attacks in Bryansk and Rostov regions

Russian authorities reported a drone attack on a bus transporting a youth football team from Gomel, Belarus, in the Bryansk region on June 17. According to acting governor Yegor Kovalchuk, one woman was killed and six people were injured, including four children. The bus was traveling to Gelendzhik with 44 passengers, including 28 athletes. The Russian Investigative Committee has opened a terrorist investigation into the incident. Conversely, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine denied the claims, stating that their forces did not target the Bryansk region during that period. Separately, in the Rostov region, governor Yuri Slyusar reported another drone attack that resulted in one death and two injuries. This attack caused fires at two commercial facilities and damaged a train in the city of Gukovo. Local authorities stated that air defense systems were engaged in repelling the strike.
