Maintenance works scheduled for Limassol-Paphos motorway tunnel

The Electromechanical Services Department of Cyprus has announced scheduled maintenance works for the Limassol-Paphos motorway tunnel. The works are set to take place from Monday, June 22, 2026, until Friday, June 26, 2026. Activities will be conducted daily between 08:00 and 19:00. The maintenance focuses on electromechanical installations within the tunnel. During the specified hours, the tunnel will be closed in the direction of Paphos. Traffic will be diverted into the opposite carriageway, which will be converted into a two-way traffic lane. The Limassol District Engineer's Office has advised motorists to exercise caution, adhere to temporary road signs, and follow police instructions. No other disruptions to the motorway have been reported.
