Road maintenance and construction works scheduled across Cyprus

Several road construction and maintenance projects are scheduled across Cyprus throughout June 2026. In Limassol, asphalt paving will take place on June 20 on Vasileos Konstantinou Street and on June 21 on Stelios Kyriakides Street, between 06:00 and 22:00. On the Larnaca-Ayia Napa and Larnaca-Nicosia motorways, installation of emergency doors and safety barrier maintenance will occur on weekdays from June 9 to June 26, generally between 08:30 and 17:00, causing partial lane closures. Additionally, the Limassol-Paphos motorway tunnel heading toward Paphos will undergo electromechanical maintenance from June 22 to June 26, between 08:00 and 19:00. During the tunnel work, traffic will be diverted to the opposite carriageway, which will function as a two-way road. Drivers are advised to follow all temporary signage and instructions from authorities during these periods.
