Panathinaikos begins summer training under Jacob Neestrup

On Wednesday, June 17, Panathinaikos held its first training session of the new season at the Georgios Kalafatis facility in Koropi. The team is under the guidance of new Danish head coach Jacob Neestrup, who arrived in Athens on June 16. During the initial session, the focus was on ball circulation, intensity, and rondo exercises. The club also confirmed that their first opponent in the Conference League qualifiers will be Paksi. Several academy players, including Lavdas, Geitonas, Biniaris, and Nebis, are participating in the training camp. Meanwhile, Kiriopoulos, Palmer-Brown, Ingason, and Bokos worked individually, and Dessers followed a special program. Several international players were absent, while Bakasetas, Jedvaj, Sissoko, Padovic, Vilhena, and Chirivella were granted special leave. Neestrup addressed the fans in a social media video, expressing his enthusiasm for the upcoming season.
