Music festivals across Cyprus scheduled for summer 2026

Cyprus will host three distinct music events during the summer of 2026. The 8th annual Make Music Cyprus festival will take place in Nicosia from June 19 to 21, featuring over 500 participants across various public spaces including Aglantzia and the Nicosia town center. Additionally, the 21st Cyprus Rialto World Music Festival is scheduled for July 8 to 21, occurring at the Rialto Theatre and open-air venues with five planned concerts. Separately, the Alliance Française Limassol and the Limassol Municipality will host a two-day International Music Day festival in Limassol on June 20 and 21. This Limassol event includes performances by over 50 musicians spanning genres from jazz to rembetiko. The Rialto festival has gained significance this year by joining the European Festivals Association. Most events remain free or low-cost to the public, though some require advance booking.
