Nicosia and Limassol music festivals announced for summer 2026

The 8th Make Music Cyprus festival will take place in Nicosia from June 19 to 21, 2026. This three-day event involves over 500 performers across various public locations, including Agios Dometios, Aglantzia, and the Nicosia city center. It aligns with the global Make Music Day movement celebrated in over 1,000 cities worldwide. Separately, the 21st Cyprus Rialto World Music Festival is scheduled from July 8 to 21, 2026, featuring five concerts involving artists from Cyprus and Greece. This year, the Rialto festival joins the European Festivals Association as part of its cultural exchange program. The Rialto festival maintains a policy of low entry costs and free access for most performances to ensure public accessibility. Both events focus on cultural promotion and music accessibility across the island.
